About me

I am Jeffrey de Campos Cardoso, strategic advisor and interim programme manager in healthcare, welfare and the social domain.

My roots lie at healthcare organisation Careyn, where I worked for almost twenty years in a variety of roles: board advisor, business advisor, project leader and innovation programme manager. I built up marketing and a customer perspective from the ground up within maternity care, later focused on strategic marketing and the positioning of organisational units, and as innovation programme manager took the first steps towards renewing extramural care - from medication dispensers and video care to the Digital Access project (keyless working). Many of these projects were successfully scaled up organisation-wide after a strong start.

Building on that foundation and my Executive Master in Marketing, I have worked since 2020 as an independent advisor for healthcare organisations, municipalities and regional partnerships. My assignments move along four lines: regional healthcare transformation (IZA, the Integraal Zorgakkoord or Integrated Care Agreement, and AZWA, the Aanvullend Zorg- en Welzijnsakkoord or Supplementary Care and Welfare Agreement), the implementation of healthcare innovation and AI, neighbourhood-based renewal of the social domain, and market research & strategic analysis for questions of direction, positioning and investment. At Warande I guided the development and implementation of care technology within institutional elderly care for around three years. At the Municipality of Stichtse Vecht I developed and led the approach for the social domain "core snapshots" - later adopted by the VNG (Association of Netherlands Municipalities) as a practice example. For Summa College I carried out extensive market research on two occasions in the Brainport region, testing the education portfolio against market demand and underpinning strategic choices and positioning.

What connects my assignments: I don't just design the strategy - I also bring it to execution, buy-in and scale-up myself, at board level and on the work floor.
